Your first task

Start with a task you know how to check.

Choose a small deliverable, give the worker the relevant context, and define what a finished result should contain.

Step 1 of 3: Define output. This example does not run a task.

Example instruction

Read these three pages. Write a one-page comparison with a link for each claim. List gaps separately.

Before you start

Remove private details the task does not need. Tell the worker which actions need your approval.

Illustrative workflow. Results depend on the task, access and model.

1. Define the output

Specify the format, source material and deadline. A comparison of three named products is easier to check than a broad request to research a market.

2. Set the boundaries

Explain which accounts and files may be used. Ask for a plan before changes to a live system.

3. Review and continue

Open the result and check its sources. Ask for corrections in the same thread. Keep external sending and final decisions with a person.

Give your first worker a clear task.

Start with one worker and one useful task. Give it direction, review the work, and build from there.
